DRYPOINT ETCHING with Deb Twining (3hr workshop)

Thursday 19 July – 12.00pm-3pm ($40 each), Ages 7+

Have you ever wanted to extend your childs art learning experience beyond the 1hour school holiday workshop. This holidays join Twiningarts in a 3hr exploration into Drypoint etching. Drypoint etching is a safe non acid form of intaglio printing producing subtle and beautiful velvety lines. Perfect for those who love to draw and want to create multiples of their work. Images are drawn, scratched and burnished into the surface of a plate, before being inked, wiped and printed through a printing press. The option will be there to also hand colour work. Your child will take home a small edition of their own beautiful prints.
